Oh the joys of home ownership.

So this winter our furnace went out and of course it's older than me. Apparently there are no parts for it on the face of the planet. So we have to replace that. Add to that, or outdated electrical system, oh yeah ruptured 70 year old water main and your looking at a shit ton of bills. The best part... No home equity. Finally got a loan to do the work, which I will have the joy of doing myself. yes I am actually capable. No this won't end up an episode of DIY nightmares.

This week we got to dump a bunch of money on my wife's car. Today I go out and there's a puddle under my truck. When it rains...

So long story...well...long, I am suspending plans to venture out to any cons for the near future.
